Cranfield 290 Base Coping

Coping stones serve both a functional and aesthetic purpose by protecting brickwork beneath from water penetration and adding a stylish finish to garden and parapet walls, flat roofs and swimming pool surrounds to name a few.  The versatility of cast stone allows us to manufacture bespoke profiles as a cost-effective and lighter alternative to natural stone.  Please email projects@keysm.co.uk for assistance with your coping stone enquiry.

The Cranfield Coping Stone range represents our traditional regency style, twice weathered, with drips (throated) made to match our Cranfield Pier Caps.  We usually hold stock of 230mm Base Coping in Portland and Bath for cutting on site.  Please contact Matt in our workshop to enquire about stock levels on Telephone: 07932 929554.

We also manufacture Cranfield Coping Stones ‘made to measure’ to suit your specific wall length which negates cutting on site and avoids wastage.  We can incorporate once weathered or flat top finishes in addition to our standard twice weathered design.

Useful Terminology

Twice Weathered – high central peak with dual sloping sides to guide rainwater equally off both sides.  Popular for protecting garden walls.

Once Weathered – high on one side, sloping in one direction to guide rainwater to a gutter or water course. Excellent for parapet walls.

Flat Topped – flat without a slope.  Frequently ordered for use around a swimming pool.
